Or if you’d rather pig out, you’re getting pulled pork, bacon wrapped pork loins and fall off the bone ribs, available with our homemade sides of the beans, cole slaw and specialty “baked potato” potato salad. We also offer hand made and battered pork tenderloins cooked to a beautiful blonde color for amazing tenderness. Enjoy a side of freshly cut and hand dipped and lightly battered onion rings. So don’t delay. Visit Burnt Offerings BBQ to sink your teeth into the best BBQ in Greeley. Trust us. It really is that good.
Burnt Offerings BBQ goes big.
The restaurant is bringing Bigfoot back to Greeley, where massive footprints in the snow attracted attention from local law enforcement and media, along with anthropology professors from the University of Kansas in 1981.
This time Bigfoot brings Big food, the Bigfoot Challenge – a sandwich piled with five pounds of grilled and smoked meats that’s free if you finish it in an hour and $50 if you fail. Your picture with Bigfoot joins the Wall of Fame or Wall of Shame.
You can also choose the Bigfoot sandwich, the Pigburger, a hamburger of ground pork, or more moderate servings of owner Bob Strange’s Kansas City style BBQ with a hint of Texas spice. The menu includes pulled pork, ribs, and beef offerings slow-cooked for hours for tenderness and taste. American fare specials such as meatloaf, chicken, and fish and shrimp round out the weekly menu.
The experience happens in a historic 1880’s stone building in downtown Greeley amid small-town charm and the natural beauty of a valley that’s an easy drive from Kansas City.
Check out the menu, load the family into the car, and take a scenic ride to the sights, sounds, and tastes of a slower-paced time and place.
